Gabriel approached the piece through that same duality. Strength that is both grounded and rising. Rooted, but moving upward.

The letters are placed at the nape, but some of their vertical lines extend downward, subtly tracing along the spine. Not in a rigid way, but creating a sense of upward movement. Almost like a flame that doesn’t flare.
