Hoss, Hossam Abu Hashish, is the founder of Tattoo Hysteria in Amsterdam and, with two decades behind him, one of the tattooists who has tattooed the most of our European clients. His own work runs to graphic, watercolour and abstract styles, but he understands the particular demands of Hebrew: the verticals, the negative space, the places a line must not thicken.

His studio is known for its calm, welcoming atmosphere. For anyone in or near the Netherlands, he is our first recommendation, and the tattooist behind several of the pieces in our gallery. Few tattooists in Europe have inked more of our commissions, and fewer still read Hebrew’s geometry as instinctively as he does.
